Stretching
A while since I lifted barbell and especially deadlift. Very fun as a change of pace. I took it easy but it didn't feel like that. Probably, soreness to expect ahead.
If someone missed it, the great blog "GS after 40" is reincarnated as "GS after 50". Some good materials there. One old article on the Ryabchenko method (LINK) and one on a modified Ryabchenko template (LINK) are republished. I guess it could be ranged under the term of "drop sets" in its widest sense.

Kettlebell Sport Training Program Generator
Here is a good training aid. A Kettlebells Sport Training Program Generator for biathlon. It is great for creating a good set/rep/weight progression. It has an accent on lockouts, which makes it good for competitors. Just click in your equipment, level, and progression rate and voilà!

The inventor behind the generator is Kalle Pykkönen: one of the Finnish lifters that competed in Uddevalla in March. The generator is all free. Thanks Kalle!
