This week started fine with a LC Personal Best of 41reps with 28kgs Monday. After that I did two bleak sessions Wedensday and Friday. Some weak heavy reps, and some half-hearted endurance lifting - I don't even bother to write it down. Then I read Bolles Blog and saw that after the competition in Russia he did a week of running and some basic barbell lifts. I remebered he did the same after the virtual competition previously, and thought of my own week.
Paul Tucker and other smart people similarly have told me long ago, that after a max effort it is good to shift gears for a couple of days or a week. But doing a PR I got too excited and forgot.
But, today I did some barbell and will not lift kettlebells until I feel it will be productive again (hopefully Tuesday).
Well I did deadlifted 162,5kgs with a clear lockout (bw 81,8kg, not 2xbw though :-). In sum, this week started well and ended good.
