Today, I think the term "push press" is mostly used among kettlebell sport lifters when they really want to say "bad jerk". Nonethelss, it is an interesting lift. I found it very hard on triceps and quads (not shoulders!?!). I had to drop tempo a lot to manage to push press the 30kgs.

Drop sets - Champs use them
Looked at Oleg Illka's and FIGKS youtube channel:  LINK
There are some nice videos of Oleg Ilka's training sessions. It seems he uses drop sets from time to time. I.e. you start at a certain weight and then switches to a lighter weight after a while.

The Finnish kettlebell sport program generator - LINK - has a drop set approach, by the way (thanks Kalle P!)

Another good LC video
From the Russian LC Championship -85kg. In the center Denis Vasiliev who have teached in Sweden several times. Look at the lifter far right, at 8:40 he changes from cleaning with thumbs backward to forward. I know some lifters change like that in snatch, but I have not noticed/thought about it in LC before. It is also noteworthy that these great lifters all have their assymetries while lifting.
