Wedensday 29th >
Deadlift 100kg x8reps; 120kg x6reps; 140kg x5reps; 150kg x 2reps; 150kg x 2reps
Squat, deep 50kg: 2x 10reps
Bench press 80kg: 6,6,4; 85kg: 3,3
The deadlifts, I miscounted the weight so I thought I was lifting 10kg less than I was. Especially, the fact that that I found "140kg" very heavy was depressing before I recounted :-)
Saturday 1st of June
LC 2x 20kg: 5,5
LC 2x28kg: 5x 6 reps, 4x 5reps (1 min rests), long rest and then 5 more reps (sum 5o reps)
LC 2x 20kg:10
Bench press 80 kg: 6,4,4
Spent most day painting an appartment so I guess that's why I couldn't do 10 straight intervals with the 28s. Felt great lifting anyway.
Had an interesting conversation with an olympic weight lifter at the gym. He told that the way he was trained to build t-spine (upper back) mobility/flexibility was wide snatch pulls from blocks, from floor. Anyway, the point was that t-spine flexibility to him was more about building the strength to out the chest than "stretching" the upper back. I watched him lift a bit and obviously he was quite skilled, so it might be something to follow up.
Tomorrow is the Trollhättan competition. Unfortunately, I can't go. Have to paint, and paint some more... Hope there will be many new PRs for the lifters though.
