Deadlift 110kg: 5; 140kg 2reps; 165 1rep; 140kg 4reps
Squat 50kg: 2x 10reps
Bench press 85kg: 4,4; 80kg; 5reps
A barbell day. Pulled 165kg in deadlift at body weight 82,4kgs. I held for a couple of seconds but think I didn't really get a my hips through as in a good deadlift lock out. Will film next attempt which I think will be in ca two weeks from now. Anyway, it is a good step on the way to deadlift double body weight - a long term goal.
I must say I like this low volume approach to deadlift better. Hmm.... it is kind of obvious that a 46-year old guy will feel drained if he attempts a powerlifting deadlift template parallell to training long cycle.
