LC & running

Sunday 22nd
Oa lc as warm up
LC 2x24kg: 5,5
LC 2x32kg: 3,4,5,4,3
LC 2x24kg: 25,15

I tried again to clean with thumbs forward. I thought it might help with grip. I really like the way the bells fall into rack after the clean with thumbs forward. But, the clean feels odd and I get a very short back-swing. That was especially noteworthy with the 32s. I had no grip issues training outdoors by the way; it is cooler and the breeze dries you up.

As the below pics indicate, most of the great lifters today seem to clean with thumb forward. Vasily Ginko is an exception though.



Monday 23rd
Running 5km, 60-85% of max heart rate, i.e. some more quick runs and walks

Personal i like the thumb forward.
And yes the way back is shorter.

I will start my LC just in 5'...sent me some power...hahaha...
