REGULATIONS OF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP among MAN and WOMAN
and WORLD SUPERIORITY among JUNIORS (1988 and younger)
OF KETTLEBELL LIFTING IN 2010

(BRIEF VARIANT)



2. Terms and conducting place

Place of conducting of competitions: Hervanta free time center, Lindforsinkatu 5, Tampere, Finland
Date of conducting of competitions: on November, 12 – 13, 2010.
Day of arrival and registration of participants: on November, 11
Weighing of participants in a biathlon and snatch (men, juniors, women, juniors):
on November, 11 from 19.00 to 21.00;
participants in the long cycle (men, juniors): on November, 12 from 18.00 to 19.00;

Beginning of competitions: on November, 12 in 10.00, on November, 13 in 10.00
Day of delivery of protocols and departure of participants: on November, 14.

3. Managing

The managing of preparation and realization of competitions is carried out by International Union of Kettlebell Lifting (IUKL) in a collaboration with International Kettlebell and Strength training Academy (IKSA) and Kettlebell training club “Kahvakuulaharjoittelu ry”, and Finnish Kettlebell Association* so.
Chief referee of competitions and chairman of referee assembly: Mr. Vladimir Solovyev (Russia).

4. Competitors

Competitions are individually-commands and conducted in two classes:
- amateurs (men with KB 24 kg, women with KB 16 kg);
- professionals (men with KB 32 kg, women with KB 24 kg);

And in two ages groups:
- men, women (World Championship);
- juniors of 1988 – 1991 year of birth (World Superiority)

Weight categories:
Men, juniors: 63 kg; 68 kg; 73 kg; 78 kg; 85 kg; 95 kg; 105 kg; + 105 kg.

Women, juniors: 58 kg; 63 kg; 68 kg; + 68 kg.

A command relay race - is men, juniors: 5 persons from a country, combination of two persons in one
weight is shut out.

Sporting shells:
Men, juniors:
- amateurs with KB 24 kg;
- professionals with KB 32 kg

Women, juniors:
- amateurs of KB 16 kg;
- professionals of KB 24 kg

Command relay race – only men, juniors-professionals:
KB 32 kg

A command must have a single form with symbolism of the country.
Participants are representatives of country, must have a flag and CD with the record of hymn of the country.

5. Kinds of competitions

In individual championship competitions are conducted:
For men, juniors:
- on a classic biathlon (classic «short» jerk + snatch);
- in a long cycle («long» jerk).
For women, juniors:
- in a snatch.

In team championship competitions are conducted:
For men, juniors:
- in a command relay race (classic «short» jerk);
For men and women (juniors, juniors):
- in a team offset (on the amount of glasses, collected the representatives of every team).

Temporal regulation – 10 minutes on every exercise (jerk, snatch, long cycle).
Command relay race – 3 minutes for every participant of command, total time 15 minutes.

6. Estimation of results and rewarding

Competitions are conducted by Rules of International Union of Kettlebell Lifting, with additions and changes, borne on the day of conducting of competitions.

Winners among men and juniors are determined in the sum of biathlon and in a long cycle in an individual and team offsets, among women and juniors - in a snatch in an individual and team offsets.

For 1-3 places in individual offset in each competative class in each weight category participants are reward by medal and diploma.
For 1 place in team relay rase team are reward by cup and diploma, participants – by medal and diploma, for 2-3 place team are reward by diplomas, participants – by medal and diploma.
For 1-3 places in team offset are reward by cups and diploma.

7. Financial terms

Charges, linked with participation of sportsmen in World Championship (travelling charges, feed, residence) belong on the account of sportsmen or sending on an assignment organizations.

Starting payment for participating in competitions:

biathlon (men, juniors) - 20 EUR;

long cycle (men, juniors) – 20 EUR;

snatch (women, juniors) – 20 EUR;

team relay race – 5 EUR / for every participant (25 EUR at complete composition of team).

Sportsmen and commands from countries which are not the members of IUKL pay starting payment for participating in competitions in a double size.

Sportsmen and commands from the countries-members of IUKL, pay starting payment for participating in competitions in a double size in case if their country did not pay an annual membership fee for 2009 in the moment of conducting of competitions.

HOTEL
Cost per night – 50-100 EUR.
Possibility additionally to order a transfer from the place of residence to the place of competitions.

Yes, this must have happened quickly. Then you have three official/formal comps in Finland this year.
