Biathlon training, rank project & 36kg video

Lång paus, åkte ut till Fiskebäck med en kompis. Såg bla en joggare med VFF.

Gs jump squats: 48kgx 20reps, 64kgx 35reps

Ska till Uddevalla Kettlebells (LÄNK) på lördag och försöka uppnå rank 3 enligt WKC (LÄNK). Det är 68 stöt med 2x 16kg samt 65/65 ryck. Borde funka fint - fast man vet aldrig med kettlebells. Mina PR med 16kg ligger på 100 stöt och 65-70 reps per hand i ryck; fast det var över ett sedan så jag kan åka på mjölksyra-koma :-).

One of my Finnish friends requested a picture of the 36kg and I reckoned I have to share :-).

This bell marks a new era of bell makeover - balancing the bell is A & O. It is completely filled but with a mix of iron, lead and construction foam. Some bigger pieces of iron are welded in place. Then there are welded crossbeams to keep stuff in place, and the rest of the bell is filled with discarded steel bolts (cheap at the junk yard).
Heated bell in a fire - then added lead. The small spaces that rested were filled with construction foam. That was made through a welded bottom plate with holes - the foam expands really powerfully so you have too keep the stuff down so that it expands into the weight sphere. Leave it for a couple of hours. Then, a second, solid bottom plate welded tight on top of that. It was in about that. No sounds from inside the bell when you move it around.
Jerked it first time today, feels very nice. Very heavy as well :-).
