Snatches didn't work today. Or, they work fine until interrupted by monkey style technique.
Honestly, I want to focus on long cycle. I like snatches and would keep training them as they are so good for conditioning. The similar regards jerk as a stand alone lift. However, when it comes to more goal-focused training, I find lc more appealing.
Took another look at the old 24kgs - now, 30kgs. In contrast to the fillings of the bell, the casting of the shell is actually quite nice. When paint and bondo was removed I expected to see a lot of cracks and cavities. But it was not so. These bells are not made anymore (not under that logo, or for that company, anyway).
